For the first time, a choice of engines are available. Choose from the responsive and economical 1.2 litre Duratec petrol engine and the advanced 1.3 litre Duratorq TDCi diesel. Both are low-carbon, emitting less than 120g/km CO2.
The new Ka is built from a lighter, but firmer bodyshell to enhance safety in the event of a crash. It also includes Ford’s renowned Intelligent Protection System – a completely integrated approach to safety. It includes driver and passenger airbags and optional side and curtain airbags, three-point safety belts with pre-tensioners and load limiters plus anti-submarining front seats.
