Apprentice of the year award

Kyle MacLeod, one of our technicians at Macrae & Dick Honda, has been named Honda Apprentice of the Year. He picked up the accolade from Honda’s managing director David Hodgetts.

The award is given to the apprentice who truly excels, with nominations taken from Honda’s apprentice trainers, assessors and managers.

“Kyle is an excellent apprentice and always sets the standard for his group,” said Paul Taylor, technical training manager at the Honda Institute. “He is always prepared for training and maintains focus during his training blocks. His passion for Honda and motor vehicles is always evident".

Nineteen-year-old Kyle, who lives in Invergordon, was delighted to win.

“This is amazing, I am so pleased,” he said. “I didn’t expect to win this award and I really owe a lot to my mentor at the Honda Institute. He is always there for me and provides me with support whenever I need it.”
